Laurene works using photographic
reference, supplementing the photographs with appropriate
detail. Laurene lives in Canton, Ohio and can meet
with you in the North Canton area. She has also worked on
commission portraits via the Internet and will ship the finished
picture to you.
To have a favorite photograph turned into
a piece of fine art, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Send a photograph that you would
like to have rendered as a portrait for the artist to review as a
jpeg to gpuls@neo.rr.com. You
can also mail the
photograph to: Laurene Puls, 1245 Echo Street NE, Canton, OH 44721.
Step 2: After reviewing the photograph, Laurene will let you know if she can use
it as the
reference for a portrait.

She will suggest a size and discuss with you supplemental
materials that might help to maximize the results of the finished
portrait.

She will also give you the fee for
rendering the portrait if a deposit is received in the following three
months. (Prices START at $500 for a portrait that can be matted
and framed to fit an 11 x 14 frame.)
Step 3: If you approve of the
layout and submit half the deposit fee,
the
drawing will begin when other work that the artist has had commissioned is
completed and an estimated date for delivery will be given. (A request
for the length of time needed to complete your artwork may be requested at
any time but the time reference will change if another deposit is received
ahead of yours.)
Step 4: The
balance of the portrait fee plus sales tax and shipping costs will be billed to you
when the drawing is completed. Once your final payment is received, your finished portrait will be shipped per your instructions with a
presentation mat ready for you to frame.
